Prepare now for a lifetime of Christian ministry!

A Schools Ministry Partner (SMP) is a full-time, permanent position for someone who is passionate about ministry and ready to grow in their faith. This position is designed to be a stepping stone to the role of Schools Ministry Worker.

The focus is on sharing Jesus with school students through key inter-school events and leading on CRU Educational Camps and CRU Holiday Camps.

By becoming a Schools Ministry Partner, you will have the chance to make a life-changing impact on the lives of hundreds of teenagers. By sharing the gospel with them and encouraging them in their walk with Jesus, you will play a strategic role in an organisation that is reaching many lives for Christ.

What does the role look like?

  • Building Relationships: Develop strong, supportive connections with students, teachers, chaplains, and CRU Group leaders across your assigned schools. You will deliver lots of Bible talks in schools and on camps.

  • Leading Camps and Events: Lead CRU Educational Camps, foster spiritual growth, and engage with students through key inter-school events.

  • Receiving Training: Participate in theological education, preaching training, and leadership development through CRU’s structured programs, including the Cornhill Australia Preaching Course.

  • Growing in Leadership: Under the guidance of a dedicated mentor, you will receive hands-on ministry experience and grow in your role with the aim of progressing to a Schools Ministry Worker position in the future.

This is not just a job – it's a pathway to leadership in school ministry! At CRU, we are committed to supporting your growth in both ministry and personal development, helping you become a key player in shaping the spiritual lives of students.
